Michelle Kraemer is a contemporary jewellery artist, born in Luxembourg and based in Vienna since 2009.
She creates lightweight statement jewellery, handcrafted from balsa wood and oxidized sterling silver. Unique conceptual jewellery, small collections and limited editions with bold and edgy pieces.
Each one-of-a-kind piece is carefully hand-carved from balsa wood and meticulously coated in various paints and pigments with each facet, bump, scratch or texture making up its unique character.

Walk away and do something completely unrelated for a while. Stop over thinking and just start doing. (but that’s way easier said than done)

I could choose someone like Lady Gaga or maybe Kurt Cobain, but actually I would chose my family since I don’t see them often enough.
Favorite cities? Why?
I don’t really have a favorite city anymore. It used to be london, but I haven’t been there in a long time, so I don’t know if I’d still like it. I do like Vienna, I’ve lived here for 10 years, but I’m more drawn to the countryside now.
