MQ VIENNA FASHION WEEK

So once again we were in town taking over the top floor of Not Another Concept Store in Vienna, while they played host to the designers showing at Vienna Fashion Week we presented our highly curated selection of Berlin & International designers as always supporting unique and independent labels.

In our free time we managed to check some shows at the tent and as last year were impressed by the strong selection of local and international fashion showcasing.

MARCO SCAIANO BERLIN
Presented by AA-Collected

To kick off the week and the launch of the Vienna Fashion Week pop-up shop we presented Berlin label to watch Marco Scaiano Berlin's AW18/19 collection of luxuary tailored and beautifully cut menswear with an in store installation and live music performance by Iranian artist Sam Ey. The fact that it is only his second collection makes the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail all the more impressive not to mention a strong styling aesthetic.

IRINA SCHROTTER

Romanian designer Irina Schrotter presented and easy breezy collection of muted colours and draped tailoring that looked both practical and feminine and pretty much sums up my wardrobe plans for next spring summer.

LILA

You could't help but smile at local label LILA's vibrant model casting for this show, a range of friends and street casting each outfit was presented by confident individuals who looked like they were having fun. A offering of bright, quirky pieces reflected this.

SMARANDA ALMASAN

Another impressive Romanian designer, Smaranda offers easy feminine cuts and bold prints with the idea of giving your every day wardrobe more experimental options.

TOM REBL

A bit of Milanese cool came from Milan based German designer Tom Rebl, returning to MQ Vienna Fashion week after a 10 year hiatus, in the form of muted shades & relaxed tailoring blurring the lines between masculine and feminine.

ROEE

Inspired by the use of new fabric technologies local Viennese designers behind Roee Rene & Michael produce bold yet fun collections featuring big prints balanced by minimalist silhouettes.
