Cristina Armesilla was born in Madrid and has had two obsessions since she was a child: her mother’s jeweller and craftsmanship. After travelling around Europe selling her own creations, she returned to Madrid in search of an artistic education. She studied the disciplines of Enamel and Artistic Jewellery at the Escuela de Arte 3.
“Contemporary jewellery and fun” Cristina Armesilla enjoys playing with materials in search of the best way to represent her personal experiences through forms. The precision of the metal structure contrasts with the unpredictable color effects of her jewelry to create a symbol of life’s own subjective, changing, dreamlike experience.
